Google buys writely

While Microsoft was busy buying Tool bar companies and looking for a better mousetrap, oops search engine, Google has acquired Writely, an online word processing tool, for an undisclosed amount….err in an overt challenge to Microsoft on the office space.

Microsoft haters are exited.
Like Marc Benioff of salesforce.com ( the former oracle guy) who said that it was “the most important and strategic acquisition Google has done.” reports red herring

The cost of being big eh!!

Never loved Google doing anything than now with this acquisition. Microsoft has been a sleeping giant at best. At its worst, everything the "MS Haters" think it is.

Sounds like good times at both places :)
