99 billion $ and counting

The combined net worth of Indian Billionaires have the largest wealth concentration in Asia even surpassing Japan. China lags far behind.

Sounds good isn't it?

Or, is it something to do with the vast divide between haves and have nots.
Or, does it mean we still have more private owners?

But it is good to see KP Singh and Uday Kotak there.
Much to learn..

It just means that we have more than our share of mean, stingy people, like the landed gentry of india past, who simply refuse to share their wealth with their employees. I salute the Narayan Murthys of the world.

hahah.. so true.. wealth sharing is one thing, but they could also do much better by diluting... If azim offloads half his stake in the opne market, will it really push uo the share because it is more liquid now or will there be dilution and his wealth go down by 20-30% ???
